what is darwin.cloud?

darwin.Cloud is a 100% web based and secure platform that is taking the place of darwin Citrix and Transaction Plan. it has all the features and functionality, as well as the look and feel of darwin Citrix.

what is the difference between darwin.Cloud and Citrix?

darwin.Cloud is web-based - there is no need to login to the Citrix server to access darwin any longer. you can access darwin.Cloud from any computer with an internet connection. darwin.Cloud also has many more features than Citrix, such as the company store, spotlights, document storage, chat and notes, agent on-boarding wizard, and much more. for a list of darwin.Cloud features, click here.

I don't want to use all the features of darwin.Cloud - can I stay on my current plan?

you don’t HAVE to use all the features, but you will have access to everything. why not learn more about all of these features and see how they might help you be more efficient and eliminate other software, spreadsheets, duplicate/manual entry, etc.? we have weekly webinars you can access here to learn more about all these features and how they can help you.

is darwin.Cloud more expensive? if so, why?

for some customers, darwin.Cloud will be more expensive, because it has so many new features that can be used by anyone - even if you don't use it for accounting (although you should!). we will work with everyone to roll this out over time so the expense is not a burden.

does darwin.Cloud integrate with Quickbooks or other accounting software?

NO - darwin.Cloud replaces Quickbooks or other accounting software. It eliminates the need to have another program or excel spreadsheets for agent commissions, billing, etc. and then go into another system to do the accounting. spreadsheets and Quickbooks actually add labor cost and cannot scale with growth. you will have delayed financials and not be able to provide real-time analytics for the business.

how will darwin.Cloud’s features make my office more efficient? 

  1. using software that automates your accounting in a single platform (commission calculations and accounting in the same system) saves time for staff. our studies comparing the two approaches show that having a unified system allows a processor to close more than 5 times the transactions than in a non-unified system. 
  2. many of the new features are automated, so staff isn’t doing as much manual work and data entry to complete their daily tasks.
