NEW darwin.Cloud feature: Run Last Launched report
On the reports screen in darwin dot cloud, there's a tool that you'll find yourself using all the time. It's called: Run last launched report. This tool is especially helpful when you're designing custom reports.
The benefit of this tool is that it remember the last report you looked at.
Not only does it recall the last report you ran, it also remembers the settings you selected. So for instance, if you ran a report was filtered for last month and only one of your companies, it will remember those settings and bring them up so you can run the same report again.
Remember that darwin.Cloud has real-time reporting, so if you login and run a report like Profit and Loss or Cash Flow forecast - the report will be different today than it was yesterday.
To be even more powerful, this new tools remembers which fields you like to view in your reports. With darwin.Cloud, you can always and remove the fields, that you want to show on your reports. So let’s say that last time you looked at some report, you added a few fields and removed many fields - because you were trying to get a simple, custom report, with just a few key fields.
Well, the Run Last Run report feature, remembers the fields you selected (or deselected) to show on the report. This means you can run the report again, with one click, and see it just like you saw it last time.
From day to day, this tool remembers you. So if you logged in and ran a Profit & Loss report last week, when you log in today, darwin.Cloud will remember the report you ran last week and run it for you again.
Now, if the report settings you selected really “work for you” - and this is how you always want to see this report, then down in the bottom right corner of the screen, you can type a name for these settings and it becomes a new custom report that you can save to your Favorites and use over and over again.
This state-of-the-art technology is built into darwin.cloud. Watch this short video to learn more.
