AccountTECH announces Top 10 companies for Gross commission per agent - 3rd Qtr 2024
AccountTECH's latest analysis reveals the top 10 U.S. real estate companies with the highest AGCI per agent in 2024, highlighting traits of high-performer brokerages.
November 5, 2024 - Boston, MA – AccountTECH has completed an analysis of the Companies with the highest AGCI (Adjusted Gross Commission Income) per agent for the 12 months ended September 30th, 2024. This recognition is calculated by totaling adjusted gross commission (AGCI) for the 12 months from October 1st, 2023, through September 30th, 2024. This company-wide AGCI is then divided by the number of active agents in the company as of September 30th, 2024.
Key findings
These top performing companies share some common traits:
- All these companies have less than 100 agents. The active agent count of the top 10 companies ranged from 7 to 97 agents.
- For the Top 10, their average Per Person Production (PPP) was between 2.25 and 5.25 higher than the average of all the other companies in the study.
- The top 10 had median PPPs between 2.75 and 6.5 times higher than the median PPPs of AGCI in the prior 12 months.
What are the averages?
For all companies in the study, their average AGCI per agent in the prior 12 months was $55,917. The median AGCI per agent was $36,302.
The Top 10 companies in the study had an average AGCI per agent of $150,937 in the prior 12 months and a median of $170,979. Their AGCI PPP for the prior 12 months ranged from $127,582 per agent to $300,057 per person.
One top performer that deserves special recognition is Charter One Realty, which operates in the Southeastern United States. This Charter One organization owns multiple distinct companies that operate under the Charter One moniker. Of the Top 10 companies in this study, four are part of the Charter One group.
