AccountTECH server farm upgrade & planned outage

AccountTECH’s server farm infrastructure is moving to a new location. On the weekend starting on Friday, January 22nd at 8:00 PM EST we are moving all of our equipment (servers, firewalls, switches, backup storage) to a new facility in Somerville, MA. You can learn more about our new facility at CoreSite by clicking here.

This new facility can provide us the expansion we need for space, power, security & monitoring – but most importantly we are increasing our connectivity to the internet by using multiple blended internet back-bone providers AND increasing the amount of bandwidth to the internet to 5 times our current limit.

All AccountTECH servers and websites will go off-line at 8:00PM EST on Friday, January 22nd, 2016 and will be back online by 4:00 AM EST on Monday, January 25th, 2016.  There is a high likelihood that the software and websites will be up well before this time, possibly as early as the morning of Saturday, January 23rd, 2016.  AccountTECH technicians will be working throughout the night and around the clock to facilitate the shortest possible downtime. For the hours that the AccountTECH server farm is offline, this will impact users in the following ways:

  • You will not be able to work in AT2000 or  TransactionPlan
  • MLS listings will not import
  • Email campaigns will not be sent out
  • Submissions will not be sent to CREST EDG

This planned outage is the first time AccountTECH has had a planned outage in over 5 years.  It is an important upgrade that will support not only our clients growth – but also the increasing demands of integrated applications like:  DASH, Zap, Forte Direct Deposit services, Forte Credit Card processing services, E-Relo integration and DotLoop integration.
